The business starts from the year 1884, when the Greek immigrant Sotirios Voulgaris (1857-1932) originating from Ipeiros opened a jewelry store in Rome. The art passed to offspring and entrepreneurship flourished mainly in the 70s, when they opened their first stores apart from Italy, in New York, Paris, Geneva and Monte Carlo. Bulgari products include jewelry, perfumes, watches, sunglasses, handbags and other accessories, targeting both men and women. Today there are more than 230 shops around the world.
